This is the first stage of the field data acquisition. Sampling stations grouped into polygons are marked and prioritized for further assessment from the viewpoints of access, prospectivity and hydrogen gas production potential.
The field campaign aims at taking readings of hydrogen concentrations in the soil gas mix from 1m depth – or less, depending on the local circumstances, – using industrial grade gas detectors. Every sampling station’s reading and other parameters are recorded and filed for further processing.
